NEW COMPUTER SETUP PROCESS

OVERVIEW: There are often times when an office will have a computer that has reached its end of life or when they have a new hire and need a workstation set up. In this event, there are steps to take to ensure this computer is prepared correctly for that specific location. The Technology department will handle all new computer setups or replacement requests. If you need assistance, please contact the Help Desk.

Once the computer has been approved:

  1. If the new computer is in stock at Pepperpointe, you will need to grab it from the storage room and log where it’s going on the inventory log. (Andy Schwing manages inventory)

  2. If the new computer needs to be ordered, please let Joseph John know and he will place the order with Dell.
